I was not able to find any cure for the pizza wheels other than removing them. Not an easy job. I first removed all the carriages that hold the wheels and then I got absolutely terrible marks on the paper. So I look at the positions of the marks on the page and noticed that it seems to be the individual wheels that cause the problem. If you remove the carriages and press on the wheels you will see that the single wheels have tighter springs. These are the ones that left marks on my prints. I pulled the single wheels out of the carriages and left the double wheels. Problem went away. Keep in mind that removing the carriages is easy but replacing them is quite tricky. I had to construct a special tool to help guide the carriages back into place. I was not able to find a way to simply remove the covers and get to the wheels like I could on my 1200. The mechanism for the CD tray makes the whole thing more complicated. >First, though, I'd like to figure out how to get rid of pizzawheel >marks. Has anybody succeeded in doing so?
