I tried the Xstamper (#N28 size) on Canson Platine Fiber Rag (310 g/m2) while pressing the stamp this time only very, very short and lightly -- the stamp was good visible. So far the ink has dried fairly quickly, won't smear and most importantly, has not appeared on the front side of the paper, not shining through when placed on an opaque surface (but who knows how this may be in 30 years from now). I wonder... is there a photo paper out there with a paper back (to take the pen/stamp), then a middle layer of plastic (to shield any pen/stamp fluid from passing to the front) and then the actual layer for the fine art print? It would make so much sense... (maybe I should suggest this to some manufacturers!). The clear label idea is good. I'm not sure how art collectors react to this. -Martin [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
