Dear Paul, thank you very much for your answers. Reading all your suggestions and experiences I like to ask you few more as I highly value your experience. Which inks / paper combination would you recommend for large format prints on 7500 if you would like to create the most stable fine art print with deep black? Not preferring glossy or matte prints, just from global point of view? Something which has the less compromises and possibility to make the best b&w print. I would like to set up this printer to provide the most stable and lightfast results. It has been while, I think, when discussion of maximal black density for dominant on this forum. (This is MIS carbon with LM and LC (I diluted it 1:1) channels. I used > Epson LM to avoid the green shift caused by weak third party magentas. I > used the MIS LC because that is all I had a base for at that time. Now I > might use the generic C6 base with HP ink.) > Could you please tell me more what you mean by C6 base? Note that if you're not a comfortable profiling, a monotone inkset is much > easier to deal with. > I do a lot of profiling with QTR and I am full comfortable with it. As I have rather different set of papers here in Europe than most people on this list from US have I needed to do that anyway. -- Richard Vanek portfolio: www.richard-vanek.eu twitter: http://twitter.com/richo_67 facebook: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Richard-Vanek/142576177492 [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
