I doubt the 280 is that sophisticated to detect the kind of paper you are 
using. Are you telling the print driver that you are using transparency or 
glossy paper? I had a 220 and was able to print on pictorico paper with dye 
ink. I just told the print driver I was using premium glossy paper.
