Phil, I'm not familiar with the smaller printers at all.. On the large format models you can go in and shut all that stuff off. Hopefully that is possible on these also.. If you using 8 1/2 x 11 just try a backing sheet..That should get you out of the woods. As a thought.. I think I got it.. duh.. Go to a fabric store.. ( we have JoAnns out here) they have a spray that you can use on a piece of paper or ??? this stuff is for quilters.. that will turn the material into a sticky note sort of.. Then just lay your clear material on that sheet and go for it.. bet that'll do it..
