I discussed the issue with some Hahnemule guys months ago. They were aware of the problem and stated, that it is caused by rag fibers, which have not enough time to lay down plane(ly) on the felt during the production process. They intended to slow down the production velocity to achieve a smoother surface, which hopefully won´t split off small coating particles. Maybe they really achieved their aim. I always brush or even vacuum clean my W.T. before printing. Bernd
