When you did your original post ..I took off and pointed out sublimation.. I am familiar with it .. we do murals.. for interior decorating use.. When used outside they must be coated every year with UV protectant or their gone. When used inside the whole thing is much more forgiving. My kitchen back splash has been up for 8 years and still looks great.. I am however paying attention to this thread as I'm learning a few things and would like to try them..

Most of the transfer materials seem to be aimed at dye-sublimation, which makes me wonder about how permanent they are.
The variety of materials that may be available as substrates for what we do is amazing.
