Hello, I use a table saw (12" diameter) with matte papers and it works like a charm, but your blade has to be in perfect conditions. Plasticky materials can stick/melt unless you go very (VERY) slowly and patiently and yet, I wouldn't exactly recommend it unless you have no other choice. As someone else said, plastics are better with a big sharp knife or cutter. And yes, when you cut paper from rolls to whatever size, I certainly would recommend that you deroll it before printing unless you want your printers' head damaged. Hope it helps!
