I tested for that in the 7800 by letting the printer sit for 5 weeks and then immediately printing a test strip after turning the printer on. I graphed the Lab L of that QTR test print. I've posted it at http://www.paulroark.com/BW-Info/Carb6-7800-5week-QTR.jpg I think this is close enough. >Does pigment settle in the lines requiring power cleaning cycles and so on. I don't do power cleaning, and I have noticed not problems. > I don't mind agitating the carts if that is necessary. That's all I do. The printer commonly sits for a month between printing sessions. I simply agitate the carts, turn on the printer, do a nozzle check, and, aside from an occasional Eboni K gap that needs a clean or a Windex soak, I get on with printing. > Second if you are away for several days and not able to run the printer is it better to flush the printer and recharge when you get back? I ignore a several day sit entirely. Paul www.PaulRoark.com
