I am using Epson OEM carts for 3PK printing. I remove the chips from empty MK and GO carts and put them on the PK cartridges, and reset them. I use a chewing gum like substance (Thumb Tack), sold to hang posters on walls, to attache them. Use a sharp blade and scrape away the surface of the plastic rivets that holds the OEM chip in place. Place a pea sized wad of the Thumb Tack in the cavity behind the chip, and press the recycled chip onto what is left of the rivets. The Thumb Tack will hold them in place. Then use a utility knife to remove the un-wanted guide pins from the PK cartridges. Use the MK and GO cartridges as guides for what needs to be removed. This set up prints well on glossy papers. BUT.....One needs to use the QuadTone sliders on the bottom right of the menu to come up with the gamma, and ink control that suits their needs. It takes some testing. When I find time, I am going to try making some profiles for this ink set. Ben
