One of my options for an "EZ" solution for the 1100 was simply UT14 LC for the midtone (neutralized LK). So, I tried it, and it worked well. I was then curious how the HP Z3100 gray would compare. I did not have any HP ink when the UT14 inkset was designed. So, from my end they were totally independent. It's interesting to see how close they ended up.
