Digital BW, The Print

Just discovered a crucially important feature of the 1400 which is not 
mentioned in the user guide!

There is a checkbox for thick paper and envelopes. My printer had 
developed a banding problem, when I accidentally found this box. When 
clicked, the banding disappeared. It probably increases the distance of 
the head to the paper, a feature I had on the 2100/2200 and bitterly 
missed on the 1400.

For those of you who like me didn't know about this feature, you will 
find it in the
Printer Settings -> Maintenance tab -> Printer and Option Information
