Hi everyone. I live in Jerusalem, and to get a techie to sort out my printer will cost me a minimum of $240! ($80 travel from Tel Aviv, minimum $80 one hour, and another $80 to get him back to Tel Aviv) So before I invest that kind of money I thought I give a yell and see if someone else has had this problem. When a I plug the printer into the computer, I get the little UBS tune going up, showing that it's recognized a new connection, but the computer doesn't recognise the printer. The printer itself says "Ready." I've had a couple of computer repair guys in, and they both don't know what the problem is, so they assume it's the printer. I'm using an USB connection, maybe it makes sense just to use the firewire instead? Any ideas what I can do? many thanks!
