See http://www.paulroark.com/BW-Info/R1800-Glossy.pdf A neutral, 100% carbon glossy print is actually possible. But it must be sprayed, the "grain" with just MK is a bit courser than I like, and the dilute Eboni is very warm. So, I didn't think it was a route that many would want to follow. For me, carbon on cotton (matte) is still the display champ. On the other hand, I now still like the advanced dyes for the ultra-glossy cards and small, un-glazed prints. (Along those lines we need to test whether UV glazing is as effective as sprays with respect to these dyes. Spraying things with the solvent-based products is not something we or our environment needs.) Paul www.PaulRoark.com
