Hi guys, Yes I know (Paul will kill me), Eboni is not designed for such papers. Anyway, I wanted to test. My SP1400 is equiped with Eb1400 (5 Eboni + UT14-C on C cart). I made the 5 Eboni inks profile and printed a first photo: great result, it's perfect. Lumijet is mandatory, of course! Anyway I prefer mate prints. Have a nice day, Sylvain.

See http://www.paulroark.com/BW-Info/R1800-Glossy.pdf A neutral, 100% carbon glossy print is actually possible. But it must be sprayed, the "grain" with just MK is a bit courser than I like, and the dilute Eboni is very warm. So, I didn't think it was a route that many would want to follow. For me, carbon on cotton (matte) is still the display champ. On the other hand, I now still like the advanced dyes for the ultra-glossy cards and small, un-glazed prints. (Along those lines we need to test whether UV glazing is as effective as sprays with respect to these dyes. Spraying things with the solvent-based products is not something we or our environment needs.) Paul www.PaulRoark.com

I wonder if Mark (http://www.aardenburg-imaging.com/index.html) would be open to submission of prints under glass. Of course there are various types of glass, too. Paul "Paul" <roark.paul@...> wrote:
