I found "Archival Methods" http://www.archivalmethods.com/ Is anybody familiar with them? ...Their pricing seems ok.. Hey Just got lucky maybe ..Looks like the state of New York put a list of suppliers together for Archival suppliers.. here's the url... http://www.archives.nysed.gov/a/records/mr_hrecords_cons_arcsupplies.shtml > > If anyone is doing business with any of them please share.. The founder and owner of Archival Methods is Dennis Inch. Dennis was also President of Light Impressions in the "good ole days" when nobody complained about LI service. Another great resource is: http://www.hollingermetaledge.com/ Larry Gates is the President and owner. Larry and I go way back to my time at the Smithsonian Institution in the 1990s. While working at the SI, I had designed a low cost packaging method for photographers and conservators to safely freeze small collections of processed photographic films and prints. Larry's company was the only conservation supply company eager to take it on as a product (you can still find it listed on the Hollinger Metal Edge website as the Safecare Freezer Storage kit). Freezer storage reduces image deterioration of processed film and traditional color prints by orders of magnitude, allowing these materials to remain in excellent conditions century after century (as long as you can find some heirs willing to keep the freezer running ;-) cheers, Mark http://www.aardenburg-imaging.com
