You should probably do yourself a favor and contact your CC company and simply cancel the order. I too have been dealing with them for a long time ....fortunately my orders have arrived..... so it appears that I was lucky.. On this thread I've read to many horror stories so I have elected to switch vendors.
Constructively...there is sort of an unwritten law.. if it's a special order item the vendor chachinks the card when they order the item...... if not the card gets dinged when the item ships.. They are out of line. You are not supposed to be their bank. In the end the whole thing is sad as they are clearly having business issues ...the bad part is that they have chosen to have their customer base be a part of it rather then bucking up and owning it..

As others have stated, I have also been a customer of Light Impressions for at least 20 years and have had problems getting products from them. I love the look of my B&W prints mounted in their Westminster 4 ply mat board, but the last two times I have tried to order some, it has been on back order and a phone call to them stated that they had no idea when it would be in.
Now, I've order a couple of 11x14 archival boxes, thinking they were in stock (no statement in their online catalog or at check out to the contrary), but I discovered, AFTER they charged my credit card and only by calling them, that they were backordered. They said they should be in "sometime in mid to late February" so I am still waiting.
I believe this may be my last order with them. There are lots of other places online that don't have these issues. It's too bad too, because I really do like their products. Their customer service has just deteriorated too much for me.
