Digital BW, The Print

Hi. Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Rusty and a seasoned photographer. 

I use to do almost nothing but B&W as a photojournalist. Now I'm a fine arts photographer and turned to color for several years. This year I have decided to do nothing but B&W. 

I've been fascinated reading some of the sites I've found on the web about B&W printing, particularly Paul Roark material. 

Because of what I've learned, I'm turning my old Epson R200 into a strictly B&W printer using an inkset from MIS. I'm starting with the neutral tone inkset and will explore the warm tone set later. 

In the meantime, I'm printing on the R200 just using BO to see what I can do.

I'm not ready to so the same with my R2880 -- especially since I love the ABW mode and the images I've gotten so far with it. But I may explore B&W inksets for it sometime in the future.

I've browsed through this site and I'm sure there is a LOT more that I have to learn about this process. I am also glad to see Paul Roark is a member of this group.
