Digital BW, The Print

It would have been nice if "they" had chosen to let us mere mortals know
this beforehand - would have saved me a lot of time and aggravation , and
blood pressure issues..
I would like to string up the #$%^%^&'s who make the 8m cable I bought and
the little snot in the shop I bought it from...

Not surprising - USB was only designed to work with 3 metre cables for 
low-speed devices, and 5 metre lengths for highspeed devices.
