Prior to the purchase of an Epson 1400, I printed on a Epson C86 with the MIS B&W innkset. Life was simple. The Epson 1400 and Quadtone Rip have introduced another level of complexity to the equation. The QTR profiles (curves) provided with QTR Rip have a "BO" designation, such as "Epson-Matt-HW-BO". I assume "BO" means black only. Is this profile for printing B&W prints with the standard Claria color inkset supplied with the printer or for a B&W inkset, such as Inksupply's UT-14. Paul Roark provides ICC profiles for the Epson 1400 printer. I assume these profiles are for the UT-14 B&W inkset and specific papers. Can anyone clarify the meaning of "BO" and whether Roark's ICC Epson 1400 profiles are for the UT-14 inkset? Thank You. Rod
