Paul, The major attraction to me is that it allows the use of thermal heads as well and widens the usable printer categories that way. Bowhaus TBW will drive Canon pro models with custom B&W inks but I guess some editing on Paul Roark RGB curves for CMYK printers will work too. The Canon pro models have 4 picoliter droplets, no other picoliter sizes above or below. A3+ models are at 2 picoliter throughout. For diluting the inks there are glop varieties that can be used in thermal heads, Image Specialist's WJ828 is what is used for the Z3100 gloss enhancer third party inks, pigment base but I think it will not be a problem for the dyes.
