Digital BW, The Print

Are there any more recent instructions for setting up QTR, particularly with
the Mac?
What I got with the QTR download is both Windows-centric and dated,
sufficiently that although I have used Windows off and on over the years, I
still can't make much sense of it. Even the few Mac screenshots are
sufficiently out of date to not make much sense currently.

For example, do I really have to print from a .tif file only? Or is that a
Windows consideration?

I may have just partially answered that last question for myself. I Printed
the inkseparation8.tif file from Preview instead of Photoshop and finally
got a page that I believe looks right. I could not get a reasonable print
from the same file using Photoshop.
