David, You haven't given much of any indication what you are actually doing to print. If you have OVI inks and the appropriate curves its a pretty turnkey system. But you need to install it all and print with OVI curves. If you are getting "neutral gray" prints it sounds like you a printing with a neutral gray curve. That's the idea. If you want a warm print then you have to use a curve designed for that. If you are truly getting just MK then you are not using a curve -- the software warns you about this -- and the print would be warm since MK is warm.
