David, I hate to go back to square one and possibly offend with entry level suggestions, but it's not clear at all how you are printing in the QTR dialog options. OK so your curve is installed... are you selecting it, and it alone in the curves options? Are all the other settings, dpi, gamma, etc, precisely set as the curve designer/provider specifies? Turn off calibration option? SO many things to turn things sideways...
