David, I'm sorry to hear about all the problems you've had.

I recall reading a comment about the early 3800 refillable cartridges having
an issue, and something then being changed. I don't think there was any more
detail than that. 

I purchased a set of these in September, and I will be installing them
(finally) in the next few weeks. I do hope that I have a clean installation.

What direction will you be going now?

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
