That could be the right inkset.  I'd go ahead and load the carts.

I doubt it.  I've had Claria & Noritsu (same dyes) inks in the 1400 with MIS inks for some time. (The old time, e.g., 1280, dyes and HP dyes are a totally different matter.  They are very incompatible with MIS inks.)

No.  Do a couple cleanings and print Purge6 pages to be sure the colors are out of there.  It takes very little high gamut color to affect the new inkset hues.
