Would it be worth to replace my current 1400 (installed with Eb1400 kit)? The R1800 is a "1.5pl" as well as the 1400, but with 8 cartridges instead of 6... But is it enough to change? > The 1800s can be fantastic printers and they can also be real pain in the necks with clogging problems. They also seem to be very uneven from one unit to the next. (I've had three of them). If you wanted one to play with, (8 channels can give you a lot of options), I'd say go for it, but as a replacement for the 1400 (which came after the 1800 and where Epson seems to have worked most of the bugs out of the 1.5 pl printers) I think you could be very disappointed. ------------------------------------ Please visit the Group Homepage to check the Files, and other resources as they are often being updated. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint [2] If you wish to receive no emails or just a daily digest, or you wish to unsubscribe, please edit your Membership preferences by visiting this same page.
