I avoid roll paper unless I'm printing an image that is larger than any pre-cut sheets of the paper in question. Particularly for the 1400, which should have ample top and bottom margins to avoid banding, buying rolls is not worth the hassle. I've found that moisture is effective at "relaxing" the curl of roll paper. My latest effort to use moisture was to hang the paper with an aluminum bar under it, and a steam humidifier below and behind the paper. Many use the d-rollers (reverse rolling the paper). I have one but would like to use a method that does not touch the surface. The purpose was to cut down the sizes I needed without the waste of using a 13x19 to print a square print. the paper curl is causing problems with jamming. Has anyone else ventured in this? I cut some sheets and have them in a box of paper trying to flatten them. thanks Dan >
