I don't use bridge anymore either.. I use Lightroom but constructively it's not an editing program like Photoshop..They have added a lot of features to it along the way and maybe that what is confusing many folks.. Walker is excited I think about soft proofing being added...I have never printed directly from Lightroom.. My bad I guess. I have never tried to have Lightroom be an answer all.. for me it is what I'll call the clearing house.. I can rough edit a shoot of several hundred images very quickly.. including minor adjustments and weeding.. Any can be quickly opened in Photoshop as needed but I typically don't do that when I'm editing unless I have a pretty exciting image. I guess Pauls request makes sense but I'm not sure I'd want to look at all the Lightroom stuff in Photoshop.... I typically focus on taking an image home in Photoshop.. I never really looked at Lightroom for that.. When I first started with Lightroom I hated the catalogue system..It made me nuts.. I was used Cumulus back then.. But Cumulus is a ton of work if you do it correctly.. admittedly it does a good job.. The default structure in Light room is a bit shallow for real organization but if we design how we want it to look and name folders properly then it's a real improvement.. for me very workable..I use a structured set up in Photoshop also for images and found that I just import them into a seperate catalogue in Lightroom to visually manage all my Photoshop files...way kool..
Anyway I've found my nitch using Lightroom.. but it's understandably not for everyone.. if we can't get comfortable with the interface or using it then it's best to just move on .. Life its too short. We need something that works for us.. Their are several other ways to skin the cat.

Dunno, but I use Lightroom to manage my pictures, and launch PS with the picture I want to mod from within Lightroom.

Any changes in the pictures are also saved back into Lightroom. Used bridge in the early days, it's now cocooned.
