David, you'll get excellent 12x12 prints from 120 negs with that scanner. You can print photographs at 240 DPI. 300 DPI is a little sharper. Beyond that, you can't tell much difference. I always scan everything at the maximum OPTICAL resolution, and leave it set that way always. In your case this would be 1600 DPI. Then just set your file size for either 240 or 300 DPI at the size you want to print. But DON'T resample the image to a lower DPI. Someday you might want to print a larger print, and once the data is gone by resampling, you can't get it back.
