You might also consider the effects of elevation change from where the bottle was filled and where you are. I learned a long time ago that when filling a detergent bottle at sea level and then driving to 8000+ feet elevation, I better squeeze out any extra air when I fill it and tightly cap the bottle or it may leak all over while traveling.
