I see the Epson driver, using the PS curves in ICCs, and the QTR rip with it's Curve Creator as distinct and separate workflows. The curves I've made do not work when imported into the Curve Creator because they are RGB curves. The only curves you can import are gray scale curves. > So...since QTR itself doesn't support these ICC profiles, what is your recommended workflow ... QTR, of course, is an excellent workflow for those who can make the curves or if there are existing curves. I have not made QTR curves or profiles for the UT-3D inkset. You might want to ask on the QTR forum -- http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/QuadtoneRIP/messages -- whether someone there has profiles they would be willing to share. The workflow I supported with some at least starter profiles was with the Epson drive and ICCs. That is what is outlined in http://www.paulroark.com/BW-Info/UT-3D_Readme.pdf Starting at page 6 I set out the settings I used. While I made the ICCs useing QTR's Create ICC-RGB, once the ICCs are made, the workflow is strictly an Epson driver workflow. QTR is not involved. I hope this is helpful. Paul www.PaulRoark.com
