Of course you'll want to read Tom Moore's tutorial that is, I think, in the QTR download. I go over an abbreviated QTR workflow in several of my PDFs on inksets. See, for example, http://www.paulroark.com/BW-Info/Eboni-4-Plus.pdf . This takes people through several alternatives, including the Epson driver, with and without an ICC, then QTR -- the full rip. For making ICCs, see http://www.paulroark.com/BW-Info/Embedding_Photoshop_Curves_in_ICCs.pdf and http://www.paulroark.com/BW-Info/Making_B-W_ICCs-GrayCard.pdf . The second one is about linearizing with a flatbed. Roy Harrington (QTR) has taken that to the next step with his StepWedge Tool. See his download page http://www.quadtonerip.com/html/QTRdownload.html and the tutorial that is with it relating to how to use that tool. It does take a while to get down the learning curve, but it's worth the effort. Paul www.PaulRoark.com
