Martin,

I've had the periodic nozzle dropouts in the black (and cyan for some
reason) and I'm wondering if that was a prelude to this. Is there any
wear at all on the tubing leading to the black cart on your printer?
(This one has a small white spot with rough edges and maybe some vinyl flakes\ufffd)

That corner of the printer housing has a definite droop so I'll probably
cut the thing off. Hadn't prior to this because I didn't want to do
anything destructive to the printer. But the vision of ink spewing out
of a hole worn in the tubing for the 30-40 minutes it take to print an
image has me rethinking that. I might even go so far as to trash that
piece of tubing and cart and replace it with new.
