Digital BW, The Print

So is anybody using a CFS system on a 1270/80 along with XP?  The 
resetting method described at MIS sounded dreadful.  Even if you 
have Win98 you still have to reset using a serial connection right?  
It sure would be nice if there was a chipped system that always 
showed full without resetting and could use MIS inks too.
