I forgot to mention that HP also have a "composite" B&W mode, which introduces a little colour into blacks+gray/s printing. It gives better Dmax and tonal smoothness with wider paper compatibility (reduced bronzing) than blacks & grays alone. Tint is uncontrollable since there is no ABW functionality.
