Re: Hello, new member with query about Epson Stylus 1500w

2012-12-07 by rossfmj

That'll be the next question. It'll be PC. Though I need to sort a new one out as my current one is from work so I have no admin rights. My beloved wife is very strict about any use I have of hers which runs Windows 7.

If the 1500w is supported through QTR, I would probably use Windows 7.  I was thinking of getting Photoshop Elements, so would as a starter, the following be a good starting point;

Epson Stylus 1500w
PC with Windows 7
QuadTone RIP
Photoshop Elements 11
MIS UT - 14 Inkset for the Epson 1400

I still need to find out if the 1500 is supported through QTR and that the MIS inkset cartridges are compatible (I can get 1500 refillable cartridges in the UK via Marrutt.com)

Looking at the above, my bank-card has jumped out of my pocket and run screaming from the house
 and the wife has gone to the kitchen to get the iron frying pan?

Ross
