Digital BW, The Print

I'm planning to try the MIS Eboni-6 inks in my Epson 1430 based on a paper by Paul Roark.  In the paper, he says:

Note that flushing the printer is required before switching from an UltraChrome inkset to Eboni-6. This is particularly important with wide format printers that have tubes between the carts and the heads.9 Eboni-6 and UltraChrome inks should also not mix on the parking pads. As such, rinse them before installing and do not have UltraChrome inks in the same printer as Eboni-6.


Does the native 1430 inkset also require flushing?
