The Claria and Eboni-6 inks appear to be compatible.  I've had
Noritsu/Claria black ink in the 1400 at the same time as Eboni-6 inks.

Of course, you can't go wrong flushing a printer (aside from the cost), but
the real issue highlighted by MIS was that the Eboni-6 dilution base is not
compatible with the Epson UltraChrome pigments.  This is not an issue for
the 1400, but that PDF was written to be of value for all Eboni-6 users,
not just the 1400.
