Note that the Epson driver (in my r2400) has a setting to show/not show an "Ink Low" message. If this is not checked, the printer will print, using OEM carts, until the carts are empty. Posters who discuss the issue of low levels and ink low messages, need to indicate whether the "Ink Low" message setting is checked or not.
