RE: [Digital BW] Re: Can I Top off Ink Cartridges

I don't think that you can refill with the power off as the print head has
to be under the area where the carts can be accessed which is not where the
head is in the power off position. I don't use a resetter as the ARC chips
on my carts reset automatically when the cart is replaced after notifying me
that the ink is low. I prefer that way as this process ensures that the cart
will never actually run dry, there is always about 1-2 ccs of ink remaining
when the printer says that it's empty.

Thanks all

I"ll refill all my cartridges, buy a new set of cartridges plus the
resetter; in the meantime, is there a difference refilling the carts with
the printer off, or power the printer, remove the cartridges, fill and
replace?

Thanks
