Funny that following a thread (Can I top of...) and seeing that I'm not alone, comfort me in a way! I'm still trying to find a simple way to a decent monitoring of the inks but that CIS system (whatever the brand) seems a very good idea. I looked at some tutorial videos of how to install a CIS system; seems pretty simple but at the same time a bit dangerous. I (along with Paul) ignore Epson's graphical depiction of ink levels. The "above-ground" CIS ink reservoirs clearly reveal when I must add more ink to them. I've recently been toying with the idea of switching to refillable cartridges (why, in heavens, I don't know) but I think now I'll give up the idea.
