That's one reason why I use the HP neutral inks in 2 positions.  See

It is also true that I am not in the ink business and do not make a full
set of profiles, etc. available for a broad range of printers.  I mostly
just publish what I do for others to use as they see fit.  Forums like this
one and http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/QuadtoneRIP/messages offer a
certain amount of support, but we're basically a bunch of hackers.  :)
