I found a place in California that sells to hobbiests, you can get a quart of propylene glycol for $7.15, here is URL.... http://www.chemistrystore.com/propylene_glycol.htm you're own responsibility if you order from them, I know nothing about this company or the chemical myself(disclaimer). apparently it is safer than ethylene glycol, and is used in foods in small quantities, and in the ink used to print food packaging! FDA I guess prefers this in the ink, this is wild... I am going to look over MSDS but I think I may try this out. I'll wait for more comments to file in first, so far you folks are doing great, and thank you. Jim H.
