Visine eyedrops has 1% polyethylene glycol and 0.2% glycerin....meant to lubricate and prevent dryness of eyes.

I personally advocate giving your dring a prnnnter...I mean...giving your printer a drink (the Vodka solution is a good one)...alcohol does wonders for the printer...so to speak.

Why is 70% better than denatured?

I found a place in California that sells to hobbiests, you can get a
quart of propylene glycol for $7.15, here is URL....

  http://www.chemistrystore.com/propylene_glycol.htm

you're own responsibility if you order from them, I know nothing about
this company or the chemical myself(disclaimer).

apparently it is safer than ethylene glycol, and is used in foods in
small quantities, and in the ink used to print food packaging! FDA I
guess prefers this in the ink, this is wild...

I am going to look over MSDS but I think I may try this out. I'll wait
for more comments to file in first, so far you folks are doing great,
  and thank you.
