RE: [Digital BW] photometer or densitometer

2013-07-08 by E.Neilsen

Well, I have a densitometer, a Spyder and an i1. Each serves a purpose. If
you are looking to simply read density, a densitometer is fine. What do you
really want to do?

I favor the DataColor Spyder. See
http://www.paulroark.com/BW-Info/Spectro.pdf It reads the standard 21-step
test strips and has an output that is easy to cut and paste into the QTR
linearization boxes. The Colour Munki appears to do neither as easily.
