Re: [Digital BW] large LCD monitors

2002-03-10 by Jerry Olson

Hi Michael,

I'm not getting a new monitor soon. I just saw a flatscreen montior for the first time yesterday, an Apple. It was very sharp, brilliant colors, but it was a tad contrasty. I don't think the fellow that had it had calibrated it, or possibly
his images were just too contrasty. I was VERY impressed with the sharpness, though. I thought my mitusbishi 2020 U was sharp, but Apple's flatscreen showed me how sharp a monitor really can be.

I just found out that Canon is releasing the their new Digital D60 next month, so am going to put all purchases on hold until I find out all about that camera.

Jerry
