Hi Thanks for the hints! Surely you're right about the paper curl. I can see that if my box of paper is half full, it tends to curl a bit; when I print, at the end, I hear a small click so the head must contact the edge. I had similar issues with the 2880. Jon suggested being certain that the paper was flat before feeding. Hence if there are any doubts I gently straighten the paper by drawing the paper edge over the end of a table .
