QTR might function with W8 aside from the "show curve" parts of the GUI.

I also have some new profiles at http://www.paulroark.com/BW-Info/1400-STS-eb6-CVT-Profiles.zip .  
I'm not sure what MIS is distributing now, so if the old ones do not work, try these new ones that are made with the latest MK input  source (which MIS might not be using yet).  (Do not use the  profiles  with the name "CVT" in them for the usual Eboni-6 ink installation.  "CTV" is a different arrangement of ink.)
