Digital BW, The Print

Hello, it is my first message, and I present myself.
Amateur, faithful to Pentax, the first was a spotmamtic. It's a long time ! Now a K3.
I print on Epson 3880, color or B&W.
Recently, I begin B&W with Epson 1500 W (1430 in USA) dedicated to the BW and a kit Eboni-6.
The PC was delivered with W8, and I see that QTR does not function with W8.
The impression is good with paper Epson Archival Matte and the Epson delivered driver for it.
I wish to print on paper Hahnemuhle Rag 188.
Which councils would you have?

QTR might function with W8 aside from the "show curve" parts of the GUI.

I'm not sure what MIS is distributing now, so if the old ones do not work, try these new ones that are made with the latest MK input  source (which MIS might not be using yet).  (Do not use the  profiles  with the name "CVT" in them for the usual Eboni-6 ink installation.  "CTV" is a different arrangement of ink.)

First let me offer a very public and sincere "Thank You" for undertaking to produce additional profiles for Eboni 6 inks.

 

Regarding MIS:  Surely the situation is becoming difficult for those who want to use MIS inks.  We are not able to know with certainty IF the new inks will be different and WHEN the new inks IF different will arrive, etc., etc.  We also don't know IF the new inks, IF different, will be manufactured consistently from batch to batch.  Surely the company that has purchased the ink manufacturer should inform MIS NOW about the "ink situation".
